Anitta é indicada em uma das categorias gerais, enquanto o prêmio cria categoria para influencers brasileiros
Nesta quinta-feira, 26, foi divulgada a lista oficial de indicados para o prêmio People’s Choice Awards 2022. O evento premia os melhores filmes, séries, músicas e artistas do ano, com votação popular em 40 categorias. Há três anos, existe a categoria exclusiva para influenciadores brasileiros, mas a cantora Anitta (29) foi indicada em uma das categorias gerais.
Os grandes destaques do ano são o cantor de reggaeton porto riquenho Bad Bunny (28) e o artista britânico Harry Styles (28), que contam com sete e seis indicações, respectivamente. Os dois estão indicados para as categorias “Artista Masculino do Ano”, “Música do Ano”, “Álbum do Ano” e “Videoclipe do Ano”. Além disso, Bad Bunny enfrenta Anitta, e outros nomes, como “Artista Latino do Ano”, além de “Colaboração do Ano” e “Celebridade do Ano nas Redes”. Enquanto o ex-One Direction foi indicado também para “Estrela de Filme de Drama do Ano”, graças a sua atuação em “Não Se Preocupe, Querida”.
É a primeira vez na carreira que Anitta é indicada para o prêmio, e disputa a categoria com grandes nomes do cenário musical latino como Becky G, Shakira, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía e Sebastián Yatra.
Além de Bad Bunny e Harry Styles, as cantoras Selena Gomez e Lizzo também foram destaques, sendo indicadas para quatro categorias cada uma. Gomez, duas vezes por sua atuação na série “Only Murders in the Building”, enquanto Lizzo, além das indicações de música, foi lembrada por seu reality “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls”.
Na categoria exclusiva para brasileiros, os indicados foram Arthur Aguiar, Gloria Groove, Iran Luva de Pedreiro, Jade Picon, Luísa Sonza, Vanessa Lopes, Virginia Fonseca e Yarley.
A premiação acontece dia 6 de dezembro, no Microsoft Theatre, em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. A apresentação fica por conta de Kenan Thompson, astro aclamado pela série de comédia “Kenan & Kel”. As votações já começaram no site oficial ou pelo Twitter, e vão até 9 de novembro.
Não é o primeiro prêmio internacional que Anitta é indicada este ano, estando concorrendo para o American Music Awards. Além de ter sido indicada ao Grammy Latino pela primeira vez neste ano, por "Gravação do Ano" e "Melhor Interpretação de Reggaeton" com a música Envolver.
